Meg + Rob’s WV Wedding at the Confluence Resort

I’ve shot quite a few weddings at the Confluence Resort now & it’s always a pleasure to go back to work there. If you don’t already know, the property has cabins for the wedding party to stay in, which is great. I love that couples are able to make an entire weekend out of their wedding by booking this property. It’s also a really beautiful area. If you know anything about Fayetteville… then you know. The Confluence Resort even has a view of the New River from the ceremony overlook. It’s such a unique space.
This wedding was just great. It’s the people involved that made it. The wedding party, the vendors, and of course – the couple. Meg & Rob are both epidemiologists, so you’ll notice that they brought that piece of their lives into their wedding through the table numbers. Each table was labeled a different infectious disease such as rabies, influenza, mad cow, smallpox, and the list goes on. Isn’t that the coolest?! Thanks to Rock Paper Sisters this couple had some really neat special touches. MarisaMade watercolored the background for the paper goods, which perfectly represents the dreamy Mountain State. The details involved in this wedding were perfectly executed & styled by Cheryl Sullivan Events, as always. Also, shout out to DJ Franky Frank for absolutely rocking out their reception!
