Engagement Portraits at Babcock State Park
This blog is a bit different because I want to share a few from the engagement session as well as the wedding. I loved the little hike to the lake out at Babcock State Park! It was the perfect setting to showcase an activity this couple loves to do together as well as to incorporate their fur-babies.
The Wedding
Now for part two of this blog – the wedding. As with many of my events in 2020, this couple had to shift their plans. As someone who photographs events for a living, it was heartwarming to see how couple’s support systems rallied behind them in the midst of the unknown. Lots of backyard weddings, but each SO unique in their own ways. For this event we had a first look at the Carriage Trail in Charleston, which is a beautiful setting. Once we took portraits there, we went back to the house where the ceremony & reception were held. I loved how people could flow in and out of the house to sit comfortably in the living rooms or to vibe outside with the bluegrass band.
