Dolly Sods is one of those places where beauty emerges effortlessly. In the fog, the sunsets, the rocky terrain, and those rolling blue ridge mountains. If you’ve never been to Dolly Sods you’re doing yourself an injustice every second you let life go by without checking this West Virginia wonder off your bucket list. Being as amazing as it is, it’s no surprise it’s a popular elopement destination for both WV locals and couples from surrounding areas. I make a trip up to the Canaan Valley area at least once a year and it never gets old.
