Add a little whimsy to your day.
by WV Wedding Photographer, Lauren Love
Going into 2016, I wanted to give my clients some inspiration to help them craft their own dream day. I loved attending this wedding photography workshop in Richmond, Virginia (hosted by Michael and Carina), which was full of amazing inspiration. Just remember, the littlest details end up making the biggest impact on your day. For example – the invitation suite. It’s a great keepsake for you to remember your day by, and guests always love something different. It’s definitely a way to get people talking about your wedding before it even happens. The calligraphy used in this shoot was to die for. Another thing to keep in mind, if you are wanting a more whimsical wedding is real flowers – they’re so gorgeous and you can always use extra trimmings to style things at your wedding. You’ll see below there is plant life added to some of the detail shots, which really adds something to the visual design of the final photograph. Lastly, you can’t forget the ribbon for your bouquet. There’s just something about ribbon blowing in the wind. The particular beauties used in this shoot can be found at Silk and Willow.
