Truth: I shot this editorial like two years ago & have hardly shared it on social media. Awhile back it was published on Bridal Musings, but I realized it was time to share it here as well. I collaborated alongside two of my absolute favorites – Cheryl Sullivan and Dee Watters. You can see a glimpse of my first styled shoot I did with them here. I swear, when I work with these two magic happens <3
Inspired by loose-leaf tea, we thought of ways to incorporate it into an actual wedding day. A tea bar is something we thought we hadn’t noticed in weddings, so we brought our idea to life at the old sunrise mansion. Ideally, you’d have different types of tea & a way for people to steep it & enjoy it as an alternative (or in addition to) alcohol. Belgian rock sugar and honey were used as sweeteners. & the stationery (by Earnest Bee Calligraphy) was stained with tea as a nod to our theme.
Thanks to Braiden Maddox for modeling & Jennifer Martin for doing makeup!
