Hannah & Cody’s Ohio Wedding
at the French Art Colony

I often have couples from West Virginia that search for unique venues. If you know anything about West Virginia it’s that we don’t have a ton of variety compared to other states, so a lot of times my couples will search for venues just outside the state of West Virginia. In this case it turned out to be the French Art Colony located right on the West Virginia border in Gallipolis, Ohio. I had never heard of this venue prior to shooting there, but I’m so glad Hannah & Cody introduced me to it. The French Art Colony is an event space that is also an art gallery. It reminds me of the private estate weddings that I’ve shot, but with open space since it’s a venue. From a wedding photographers point of view, I loved the decor and natural light that flooded each room.
