WV Wedding at the Greenbrier

It is always a treat to shoot at the Greenbrier. There’s something particularly special about a bride in a white dress against the striking patterns & elaborate backdrops that are in and around the historic building. Courtney’s gown was no exception. I loved this wedding because I had so much time to work on details & couples portraits. Courtney & Brandon created a custom wedding package as part of a 3-day weekend. The couple was able to have the best of both worlds with an intimate ceremony at the Greenbrier & then a huge party once they arrived back home in Huntington on Saturday. I traveled up to the Greenbrier on Thursday for the rehearsal dinner that took place at the Livery in Lewisburg. The wedding ceremony took place on the Presidential Lawn the next day under a dreamy little tree. Following portraits, the guests met at the north parlor for an intimate dinner party with the bride and groom. Lastly, on Saturday I photographed the reception portion of their event at the Frederick in Huntington.
This will always remain one of the most memorable weekends of my life – I’m so thankful for the couples who choose me to document their most precious days. (& the couples who make me feel like I’m one of their friends!) Courtney & Brandon, thank you again for bringing me along on your journey!
